Asset identification & tagging	Defence Government Mining	For more than a decade Relegen has supplied its unique assetDNA ID’s to the Royal Australian Navy, who is a leader in tagging assets down to a component level. This system enables the global unique identification [GUID] and tracking of an item – as well as manufacturing and supplier details and maintenance history – to be available in-situ upon interrogation using mobile devices.
Asset intelligence	Defence Government Mining	Relegen has helped the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service achieve real-time tracking of their extensive armoury and inventory of personal defence equipment. This project also delivered asset tagging [RFID, Micro-dotting], implementation and training services. Relegen has assisted 2 key global mining clients manage the issuance of assets [such as vehicles and personal protective equipment], asset location tracking, asset maintenance, servicing to approved standards, certification, vehicle safety checks, speed monitoring, physical asset auditing and much more. Relegen has assisted a Sydney metropolitan local government better manage information around the council’s lease-hold assets. Relegen’s asset intelligence technology helps Industrial Decontamination Services manage the quarantining, decontamination and recycling of protective equipment for mining companies.
Asset lifecycle management	Government	Relegen has assisted a leading Australian distributor of personal protective equipment into the emergency services sector, deploy asset intelligence technology to manage vital after sales product details – for warranties, repairs, maintenance, decontamination and more. Using RFID asset IDs, the system also enables the company to collaborate with their end-clients about item usage for better decision making about equipment maintenance and replacement.
Data cleansing & alignment	Defence	As one of its core capabilities, Relegen has undertaken a number of data alignment tasks for the Royal Australian Navy using subject matter and system experts to identify disparities in data held on items across three different information platforms.
Documentation, policy & procedures	Defence Government Mining Utilities	Relegen has developed technical directives for asset identification, tagging and the management of high-risk maintenance items across a class of ships for the Royal Australian Navy. Relegen has completed an Australian Book of Reference for the management of transactional data on the operational profiles of naval machinery assets. Relegen has assisted with the development of operational documentation for safe, auditable and repeatable procedures for a number of power plants for one of Australia's leading mining organisations. Relegen has completed a scoping study for the development of mechanical and electrical engineering procedures to support the Northern Territory Power and Water Corporation’s fixed plant at Katherine.
Performance analysis	Mining	Relegen has delivered a performance intelligence review for a leading mining organisation to compare the performance of individual mines against each other.
Physical asset auditing	Defence Government	Relegen system specialists have conducted numerous on-board audits of configuration and operational items for the Royal Australian Navy. This involved identifying exactly what assets were fitted, passing this information back to the RAN’s CMMS to trigger on-time maintenance actions. Relegen developed an auditing tool for a federal government department to manage physical assets throughout Australia.
Professional services	Defence Government Mining Utilities	Relegen provides contract engineers and technical staff to major Australian mining companies to address project-specific skills shortages. Relegen has worked with the Australian Defence Force for more than a decade across a number of navy, army and tri-service projects. Relegen has also been contracted to Australia’s largest defence contractors including BAE, GHD, Tenix, Rolls-Royce Australia Services, Ross Logic and others.
Risk management	Defence	Relegen has performed profile reviews of high-risk maintenance items for the Royal Australian Navy to determine the risk associated with each asset component, and the maintenance each component required to function at optimal levels. Relegen developed and implemented a web-based risk management system, powered by asset intelligence technology, for a major fast moving consumer goods organisation to help them manage risks and non-conformance issues related to quality, safety and environment issues.
System development	Defence	Relegen has completed a number of bespoke system design and development projects for the Australian Defence Force. These include a transactional data management system for warships, an auditing tool for inventory management, a system for managing assets deployed operationally, and a working prototype of a system for personnel management in operational zones.
Safety management	Defence Government Mining	Relegen has provided technical assistance and policy development support for the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service new International Safety Management System. Many of Relegen’s asset intelligence technology implementations have helped organisations improve their own safety practices including automating ‘Take 5’ personal risk assessments, ensuring items are only issued to persons with appropriate training and authority, certifying assets are fit for purpose and more.
Ship repair	Defence	Both directly with the ADF and through major service providers, Relegen’s engineers and technical specialists have undertaken a range of ship refit and repair tasks. These include project management of refits, heavy engineering repairs, and test and evaluation of system performance and capability.
Training	Defence Government Mining Utilities	Relegen technical staff have developed and delivered, both at sea and onshore, multiple training courses for the skill development of Royal Australian Navy engineering sailors. These courses are crucial for the progression of training, irrespective of a ship’s operational situation.
Work routine management	Mining	Relegen has assisted one of Australia's leading mining organisations to automate the inspection routines for all assets along a 4.5 kilometre over-land conveyor at a raw coal processing facility. The new system also incorporates the company’s ‘Take 5’ risk assessment tool into the assetDNA mobile application, providing an electronic record of assessment. This project also delivered asset tagging [RFID, Micro-dotting], implementation and training services.
